Fibrenew Expands to Albany Region in New York
Local entrepreneur, Andrew King brings established leather repair, plastic and vinyl restoration franchise to the region
Andrew King knows a thing or two about problem-solving, being adaptable, and providing excellent customer service. King spent over 20 years working in IT helping people solve their technology problems and he’s also a lifelong farmer who still operates a beef cattle farm. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and get the job done.
He’s taking on a new task – he’s building a Fibrenew franchise in his hometown.
Andrew and his wife, JoAnne have recently become new members of the Fibrenew family with the launch of their franchise serving the Capital District, joining a network of more than 250 franchises across North America owned and operated by entrepreneurs who bring Fibrenew’s proprietary restoration and repair services to homes, offices, medical clinics, cars, boats, and restaurants around their regions.
Fibrenew of Albany serves areas including Schenectady, New Scotland, Loudonville, Stuyvesant Plaza and surrounding communities. The company specializes in leather, plastic, vinyl and fabric restoration and repairs, saving consumers, businesses, and organizations money while bringing everything from an old sofa to the interior of a muscle car back to like-new condition.
“I had been looking for new business opportunities for a while, and once I found Fibrenew, I did not pursue any other opportunities – it was a great fit for me,” said Andrew. “I enjoy adapting to the situation in front of me and solving problems. Much of my previous professional experience was about adapting and providing services and results that people need. I’ve spent my entire career doing just that and Fibrenew is the perfect next step.”
The franchise is a time-tested model with a growing number of national accounts that turn to Fibrenew for restoration and repairs, including Zurich Shield, Concentra, Flexsteel, Two Men and a Truck, Punch Bowl Social and many other brands.
“Andew’s people-first attitude makes him a great fit for Fibrenew. In our franchise, every day presents a series of brand-new problems that you must fix while keeping a level head,” said Jesse Johnstone, President of Fibrenew. “Whether it is getting his hands dirty on the farm or solving sophisticated IT problems for major banks, Andrew has a lifetime of producing great results.”
