Lickin' Dog
The dog must have liked the the taste of dye that was on this semi-aniline finished seat cushion. It was licked completely off the leather! This type of finish is soft, but not colorfast. Dog saliva or any other fluid can take off aniline dye. This is a Hancock & Moore piece, so it is worth restoring instead of replacing. If you find yourself in a similar situation, give us a call!
