Contacted Fibrenew to come have a look at my leather couch with a tear. Al came by to have a look to confirm it was a candidate for repair. The next day their tech Matt came by and made it look like nothing was ever wrong. Unbelievable final product. Highly recommend you contact them before replacing your damaged sofa!
Top notch all the way. Two representatives of Fibrenew Ottawa came to my house and repaired a broom handle hole made in a vinyl window frame. They did an expert job, when finished it was gone, colour matched to the rest of the frame and totally invisible. These folks are very skilled at what they do. The price was right and the work was excellent, I highly recommend them.

We had Pat McHugh attend and effect repairs to the mechanisms in our 2 X La-Z-Boy couches on 26 Feb 2024. Our couches were listing to one side and some of the foam on one of the seats was sagging. When the job was completed I was more than satisfied with the result as both couches looked brand new and felt like they did when we purchased them. Could not have asked for a better result! Excellent job, very fast and friendly service!! We had 8 dining chairs with torn leather and foam replaced as well as foam for two sofas replaced! Pat accommodated our need to get it all done within a day! The sofas and chairs are very comfortable now. The price is very reasonable for such great workmanship and service! Excellent service provided by Pat. He installed the parts required to enable our two swivel rocker recliners to swivel, so we now are able to fully enjoy the chairs we had ordered.
He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The process moved quickly from the time he was made aware by the furniture store of the work required until he arrived to install the correct base- unlike what we had experienced before he became involved. He was proactive in communicating with us.
He also provided extra tips on how protect our hardwood floor and avoid damage when moving the chairs.

My brand new expensive fabric sofa had a small stain of unknown origin. I was referred to Fibrenew by the store i purchased the furniture from. I had an issue with a couch I purchased from Valley Squire and they arranged for Fibrenew to come to do the repair. Pat McHugh came to do the repair and it was done within 90 minutes. He was very professional, protected the floor so that there were no scratches and was very friendly and helpful while in the house. He took off the defective fabric and replaced it with new fabric and it looks like new. I am very satisfied with the work and super impressed by how little time it took.

I took my car to Fibrenew to get the seat repaired. I dropped it off at 9:00 am and picked it up around noon. They completely replaced the leather on the seat. Unfortunately they were not able to fix the bit on the side of my seat because there is a airbag in there that they can't touch. I was very impressed with the speed and the finished product. I have only done this once so I can't tell you if the cost was reasonable or not.if I took it to the dealership to get it looked at they would have told me to replace the seat and I'm sure it would have cost $2k or more. So the $450 for my repair makes it worth while.

All I can say is WOW!
We had two “tired†looking leather club chairs that we wanted restored. We contacted Fibrenew to ask for their advice and see if they were worth repairing. Pat responded almost immediately and addressed all our questions. We decided to take a chance and all I can say is we have absolutely no regrets! The chairs were restored to almost better than new condition! Foam was replaced, straps tightened and minor scratches and abrasions removed.
Pat provided outstanding service, took the time to explain everything he was doing, and did all this on-site, which meant that we were able to enjoy sitting on our “new†chairs the very next day.

Pat from Fibrenew saved a very expensive sofa that has scratches and little tears from a pet. I couldn’t believe how my sofa now looks absolutely brand new with no trace of it being fixed. Our new leather couch was just delivered and I was shocked at the bad stitching on one side. Customer Service informed me they would send a Service technician. Within two business days, we have our couch fixed.

I have a leather couch which started looking dirty. So I asked for help to clean it up. An estimate was received before they checked the couch (based on the photo I provided). They came to clean it up on time, and then let me know that it will not make much of difference if the couch is cleaned. It is the finish that is gone and the black part I am seeing is the actual leather. They advised me to not clean it, as it will be a waste of money. I was so pleasantly surprise with their honesty; it was so professional of them guiding the clients with their expertise that we don't have. I know that the next time I need help, whom to call and also let my friends and family know about them.

Amazing workmanship and attention to detail! We got all our seat cushions replaced on our humongous leather sectional on-site at our home, and I couldn't be happier with Patrick's work. I also learned one of the reasons why the dye in the leather lifted. The answer? Oils from our dogs and us! Patrick told us how to care for the leather going forward so that we can avoid issues like this going forward. So glad we didn't have to send our sofa away for repairs, when there is talent like this in our very own city! Just a quick note with a shout-out for Ken at FIBRENEW who performed an outstanding,in fact miraculous repair and restoration of the scratched and weathered driver's side leather seat bolster in my 2006 Mazda MX-5 roadster. It matches perfectly with the rest of the leather such that you'd never know that the finish is not the original.

All I can say is 'unbelievable'. The gouge in the upholstery on my Santa Fe disappeared. One would think they ordered and installed a new part. There's absolutely no trace of the original damage - absolutely none. These folks are the plastic surgeons of the vinyl/leather world. I am a repeat customer. So happy Lazy-Boy suggested I call Fibre New to replace the foam in our 13 year old lazy-boy leather sofa. . I really hated to have to buy a new sofa as the leather was still in excellent condition but the foam in the seats and lumbar support needed replacing. I had two separate issues with two separate pieces of furniture from two different furniture stores.
Matthew was called to service a large tear on the bottom of my sofa. He repaired it beautifully and put everything back in place.
I had another issue with another tear in the fabric of my footboard from a separate furniture store. They called in somebody to take care of the call. To my surprise, it was Matthew that showed up for the service call. He had to install the new footboard replacement. In order to replace it, he had to lift the large heavy mattress off on his own. I left and when I came back the footboard was replaced and everything back in order like nothing had happened. He took great care.
I find these days, great service is hard to find, and the fact that Matthew and Fibrenew were called both times, is no coincidence it's just a testament to their service record.

We just had a service call this AM. from Fibrenew, which was arranged by Lazyboy in Ottawa. We found the padding in the head rest of Lazyboy chairs to be too dense, which in turn was not comfortable.

I had somehow removed colour from my light blue purse and had a white stain. I have no idea what made the stain. Fibrenew was able to mask the stain and completely match the colour of the purse. The service was quick and the communication was good. So happy to have my bag back in rotation!

Nail polish remover used in an effort to remove another stain. Bright red leather turned black. Al was able to restore the bright red to a factory apparent finish. Phew.....
Incredible service. The technician had returned our call and was able to see us same day and within 30 minutes of his initial call. He was able to quickly identify the issue and was confident he could remove the stain. This was a brand new leather chair. He went to work immediately and notified us when he was done. The stain was completely removed and the leather chair looked brand new. The technician, sorry I don't remember his name but was a younger guy. I think Matt. He was very professional, polite and respectful. I would highly recommend this company and this technician. We were extremely impressed.
We had the pleasure of Pat Mchugh coming and fixing our lazy boy sofa. He was absolutely EXCELLENT. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, respectful, clean and he fixed our sofa better than it was before the back frame had broken. They did a fantastic job fixing our leather couch. They were able to color match a very rare color (fuchsia). The service was very professional...clean, on time, courteous and they are masters at their craft.
Claude just did a complete reno of my very worn-out cream leather sofa and love seat and I'm very pleased with it. He gave good balanced advice. Came when he said he would (including twice to my office to pick up cushions because I forgot one, and then to my house fo finish the main items). Did very nice work - new leather on all cushion tops, cleaning and 4 coats of dye - it looks like new. Seemed pricey but still quite a bit cheaper than a new couch of similar quality. I feel good that we avoided landfilling the old one (they should get a green energy grant!) and supported local economy.
I am ashamed it has taken me a while to report back about the fantastic service we had from Patrick. He is the best ambassador a business could ever ask for and it needs to brought to the attention of people who can pass it along to the right person so he can be recognized. From the moment the door opened until he left,he had perfect manners and a great attitude.
I was so grateful that he explained every step he was taking while making the repair and gave a few hints for care. Not everyone should be working with the public but this gentleman is doing an amazing job representing your company and it is only fair I drop a line to say that he is a superb employee in the eyes of this customer. Al came to our rural home to assess the restoration of our two leather couches.
He gave us a very informative dissertation on leather and the type we had. He was very knowledgeable and honest.
He could have done work on our couch, and we would have paid, but he informed us it would only last a short time due to the type of finish we have, so best to leave it as-is and enjoy the furniture’s aged character - he truthfully told us that and told us to keep our money!
He could have been unscrupulous and done a quick touch-up and told untruths and sold us services, but he did not.
A big shout-out to Mr. Al for his straight talk, honesty, and kindness.

I had some issues with my seats getting stained and through the warranty Mercedes-Benz contacted fibrenew to fix this. They did an amazing job on the driver side seat. This is what I was expecting from such a reputable company

Just hard the crossbeam repaired on my leather sofa. Had some cat scratches repaired in the fall as well. Called this morning and within hours, Al was out to look at my much needed repair. We called Fibrenew to have two occasional chairs with footrests repaired as the material had ripped when using the lever to elevate the footrests. We called Al at Fibrenew Ottawa last week and his reply was very quick and professional. He fixed a black leather sofa that was very badly sun-damaged and the result is exceptional. Our leather couch was severely faded due to direct sunlight. Claude was able to seamlessly match the original colour of the leather and make it look like new. He even came back to touch up a few spots after the initial repair. I highly recommend.
I was blown away with the transformation of our Honda pilots interior , we had quite a few small tears , a couple in the carpet , one or two on the headrests, we figured we could get a patch put on and hopefully it wouldn't show too much, man was I wrong, he came to our home in Cornwall, assessed it, gave us a price and did the repairs on the spot, unless we pointed out where the tears were you seriously wouldn't find them. Thank you for the wonderful job and it didn't break the bank!! We will definitely use this service again without hesitation.

Restored the driver's seat (sanding, painting, finish) for an exotic sports car. Absolutely perfect color and texture match with the original untouched passenger seat. Reasonably priced, great communication, and for the quality of work performed, the time taken was more than reasonable. I don't know about other Fibrenew locations since they seem to be a chain, but I'll be recommending Al and Claude at Ottawa's location to everyone.
Pat McHugh was at our place a few days ago to fix our stressless chair and to replace the core and he did a terrific job. He was very knowledgeable even though he had never worked on a stressless chair before. He had the proper tools and the chair is now like new.
Al from Fibrenew knows how to run a business. I submitted a request for a quote on-line and heard back the next day. I arranged to meet Al and he removed a portion of the drivers seat that was damaged. A few days later, Al returned and re-installed the seat. It was like new. I am very pleased with his service, the quality of the work, and his excellent, friendly personality.

Al from Fibrenew, an absolute miracle worker. He left the cream colored leather interior in my infinity in mint condition, scratches in the leather completely disappeared, and my worn and dull steering wheel now brightens up the whole interior being a beautiful soft cream color again. I was very pleased with the work that Fibrenew did for me today. Matthew Crnjac, the repair person, arrived promptly. He was polite, professional and friendly. Matthew was able to repair two leather seats with expertise and attention to details. On the light grey leather car seat, he was able to colour match perfectly an area where the dye colour was completely rubbed off by excessive cleaning. On the saddlebrown leather car seat, he was able to disguise some scratches in the passenger seat. Both seats were expertly done and the colour matching was impressive - the seats look factory brand new! I would highly recommend this company, and would use them again! Fiibrenew recently repaired our brown 7-year old couch. We had bought it from Colonial furniture and had a warrantly, but Colonial went out of business. Some baby vomit or diaper cream had left a big white stain (ie actually had removed the brown dye from the leather). After booking an appointment, Matt arrived on the day and time scheduled. He came in and took the time to custom mix two shades of brown to match the finish and air-brushed them on to match the original colour. He even touched up some of the seams elsewhere that had worn for the same price as fixing the main stain. You need a bit of artistry to do repairs this well, and he spent 2 hours doing it. It is a week later and you can't tell where the damage was done anymore. It was money well-spent.
We just had our leather sofa with recliner refurbished by Al from Fibrenew. What an excellent job he did. He just saved us from having to replace it and we saved thousands of dollars. When we called, we made an appointment, he then showed up on time the day of the appointment, he was very professional and fast. We will definitely will use Fibrenew again if we need repairs. Bought a new leather couch a couple of months ago but the leather was stretching, causing a not very sleek couch seat. I was extremely impressed with the service and quality of the work performed by Fibrenew in Ottawa. My sofa is 25 years old and had become badly faded, but was otherwise in great shape. I hated the idea of spending money to replace it, but it really looked old and worn. Fibrenew re-dyed my sofa, and it looks like new. Pick up and delivery were at the promised dates and times. The whole process took less than a week and cost me a small fraction of the price of a new sofa!
