Today I had Bill come over and repair a door panel on my car and I could not be any happier how the job turned out. Bill and Aaron worked neatly and professionally, and the cost was much lower than other places quoted. I searched the web for hours until I found his business. Thank you, Bill, for showing up right on time and doing a perfect job.
We had a Lazy-Boy top of the line 3-seat recliner sofa purchased in 2017. One of the seats received hours of use every day and by mid-2025 showed considerable wear. Our previous 5-star upholsterer that we had used before for fabric problems was unavailable but recommended us to Bill Bedsole at FibreNew -Palatine. Bill called us immediately, examined the photos we sent him and, based on his preliminary quote visited us for a final estimate which was very reasonable. The job was done in 2 weeks and looks like new - we can say that because we can compare the worn seat to the other two seats and they are identical. Bill is polite, clean and very knowledgeable. He will be our go-to guy for our next leather problem.
Our sofa repair turned out beautifully. The color match is amazing and no one can tell where the tears were. This is the second time that we have used Fibrenew and will definitely use them again if needed.

The website provides a lot of information. but what I liked the most is that when you request a quote you can upload pictures to get a more accurate estimate. They called me the next day and were here early. They looked at my sofa and updated the estimate a little. Bill was friendly and professional. and they fixed it the same day !!! They price seemed very reasonable for me. I asked them for a quote to fix the front seat of my minivan. let's see how that goes 🙂

I had an insurance claim to get my seat cover fixed or replaced. Fibrenew after seeing it insisted on getting it replaced with the insurance. They replaced the seat cover and did a great job along with great communication.
Very impressed with the Fibrenew team. On first notice, Bill was super friendly and easy to speak with and schedule with throughout the entire process. I have four kids and a dog that ride regularly in my SUV and my seats were victim to that. Bill and his team got all of the staining out and my seats look like new. Super happy with them!
My dog jumped in my car a few weeks ago and really scratched the inside of my door. It was pretty bad. Bill at Fibrenew returned my call right away. I sent him pictures and I got a quote from him within a day or two. We scheduled the day for him to come to my house and make the repair. He and his assistant came this morning and they were done in less than an hour. You can't tell the scratch was even there. Best yet, it was repaired in my driveway!!!

We just had our leather couch restored. At first I thought the fee that was quoted was high , but we did the restoration anyway. When Bill returned with the final restoration and we saw the care he took in completing work that had to be done at our house I realized that we really got a bargain and the price was not at all high. I would give Bill the highest recomendation possible because the quality of his work was of the highest level.
We are beyond pleased with the results of restoring the color on our leather recliner! It is an old chair but very high quality leather and so comfortable. As a result, we hated the thought of replacing it. Fibrenew cleaned, conditioned and added color as needed and the chair now looks great! Highly recommend them! And they were as nice and professional as could be!!!!

Our dog ripped our favorite leather couch. We were devastated and thought that we had to purchase a brand new couch. That is until I heard of fibernew in palatine. Bill came out and looked at the couch and quickly came up with an estimate to fix it. He came a few weeks later and started the work. He patched the rather large rip and spent hours in order to match the color perfectly to the rest of the couch. Our Couch is over 40 years old. A family hand-me-down that looked very tired. It would cost over $10 grand to replace the couch and chair in the same quality and makemanship. This was under $1 grand. They look brand new. They were re-died, repaired (new stuffing to firm the cushions up) and look fantastic. Very nice in home service. Fabulous in-home service, especially during Covid Lockdown. My two 20-year-old leather couches now look better than brand new after Bill's repairs of the busted frame, broken springs, and flattened padding. The replacement cushions feel soft as butter. Very impressed with Bill's quick response to give me an estimate. Two chairs to my dining room set had cracked, one of which I was sure was a lost cause. Also needed a chair back cushion to be restuffed as well as a recliner which needed more stuffing in the lumbar area. Bill was able to save my chairs and completed all repairs within just a few days. I was a little unsure about the color selection of our kitchen chairs and they tuned out wonderful. Our leather couch was redyed. Really happy with the quality of service and attentiveness of Bill. Table leather replacement look great, has held up very well these last couple of months. Bill came out to pick up and drop off and even adjust the table again for the headrest to re-insert into the table. Highly recommended.

I was a first time customer, service was great! Bill came out the next day. He arrived right on my scheduled time. My red vinyl couch had a tear and a couple of scratches. He gave me a price which I accepted and he started to work. He called me to look at color match before he went further and it was perfect! When it was all done I could not tell that it was ever ripped and it was as good as new! I highly recommend this company! I never had anything like this repaired and was very very pleased.
